That’s me!
I’m a social media Creative Director with a scriptwriting background and 15 years’ experience working with brands across TV, Digital, PR and experiential. Put simply: I’ve been doing social media for as long as it’s been a thing. Currently CD at social media agency That Lot, my remit has been to build, develop and oversee what I strongly believe is one of the strongest social media creative teams in the world.
I’m a copywriter and concepter at heart, but also not afraid to get involved in craft, design and art direction. I’m very much at home leading creative teams with a wide and varied skillset and I’m as happy working on app concepts and experiential builds as I am on a shoot or directing a VO.
I’m also not afraid of high-level strategic thinking – come anywhere near me in the pub and I’ll chew your ear off about how social media still requires ideas, man. You need a pitch lead? I got you. I’ve led numerous inter-agency and global pitches to some of the world’s largest brands. Want me to whisper “paid social best practice” seductively into your media agency’s ear? I’ll do that too, in 15 seconds or less.
I’ve been named one of Time Out’s most influential people in the UK creative industry as Founder / Director of immersive theatre agency Reuben Feels, and I’ve won numerous industry awards, including Cannes Lions, credited both as an individual and as part of wider campaign teams. I have a particular passion for online content, tech and innovation, embracing cutting edge content formats to tell brand stories.
I also occasionally work as a consultant and speaker, working for clients such as Mondelez, BBC Worldwide, Pernot Ricard and Thalys, amongst others.
